What is BluBerry?
BluBerry in short, is a new way for Americans to sell their used items. It's designed to make selling as easy as possible.
The User Journey: A customer fills out a "list your item" form on BluBerry, the data is then priced by an AI system. Then if BluBerry approves the product, we schedule a pickup date for the item from the users residence, and then the customer is paid right away, no matter if the product sells.
The Journey
I've been working on BluBerry since May of my junior year. What started as an idea has evolved into a comprehensive platform that's now in active development.
What I'm Working On
Currently, I'm focused on two key areas:
- Strategic planning and business development
- Building and growing our social media marketing presence
The software necessary for this project is being actively developed right now. This has been such a struggle over the summer but I am trying to make it work. Until the software is finished, we cannot start production so our services are not currently live. Hopefully they will be by October 5th.
The Vision
My vision for BluBerry is to take it nationwide at an extremely large scale. We're not just building another resale platform—we're creating the infrastructure for the future of secondhand commerce.
The Challenge
The resale industry operates on slim margins, and one of my primary focuses is finding innovative ways to increase profitability while maintaining the best possible experience for our users. This requires creative problem-solving and operational excellence at every level.
